Other Details to Note

⭐ “Loved how spacious and well-stocked the house was—great for cooking, games, and just hanging out with friends after a day of tasting!” 😎 What’s Penn Yan all about? Penn Yan has this cozy, small-town vibe that instantly makes you slow down—in a good way. It’s right on the tip of Keuka Lake, so you’ve got beautiful water views, boat life in the summer, and that peaceful Finger Lakes charm all year. There’s a surprisingly good mix of local restaurants, cafes, and craft breweries for such a small town, and the historic downtown feels like something out of a movie. Plus, you’re super close to tons of wineries without the touristy buzz of some of the other lake towns. 👋 Meet your hosts We are devoted to ensuring your stay is as comfortable and memorable as it can be! Our story dates back to the 1930’s when our grandparents bought one of the first waterfront cottages on Seneca Lake. That cottage is still in our family today. Our mother grew up on Seneca Lake, so my brothers and I also spent our summers on the lake. In 2005, as we all started to have families of our own, we decided to continue our family’s legacy by purchasing lake homes of our own. Fast forward to today, my grandparents would be proud to see their grandchildren and great grandchildren continuing to spend their summers on Seneca Lake. We’re honored to host your group and hope you enjoy this property as much as we do! ✓ Family owned and operated ✓ Fast response times ✓ Professionally cleaned ✓ Local management team ✓ Seamless check-in and check-outs ✓ Timely resolutions of issues or concerns ✓ Neighborhood recommendations offered Should you have any questions or needs, we're a message away. We look forward to welcoming you to our home! 💛 Karen & team 💡 Other things to note ✓ Our home is supplied by well water that is purified with both UV and Particulate Filters - safe to drink! We also offer a stand alone water dispenser with 3 and 5 gallon jugs of water as a convenience to our guests. ✓ The maximum guest limit is 8, that is during the day and at night. This is due to the home's septic limits. Due to the cost of a septic system, and out of respect for other guests who have booked their stays almost a year in advance, this is strictly enforced and monitored. ✓ Please make sure all trash is inside bins, do not leave any trash outside of the bins (3 large trash bins are provided)

Penn Yan, NY, United States

Getting around town is pretty straightforward. For the most part, everything you need is a short drive away, whether it's exploring the local shops, grabbing a bite at one of the restaurants, or heading out to enjoy the wineries. There’s plenty of parking around, so you won’t have trouble finding a spot when you’re out and about. If you’re staying local, walking or biking around the area is a great way to take in the scenery, especially along the lake or the quieter streets. Public transportation options are limited, so if you're looking to venture a little further out, having a car will make things easier. But for the most part, Penn Yan’s pretty walkable, and there’s always something nearby to check out. If you want to go wine tasting or explore a bit beyond town, there are some local taxi services and other transit options available.
